life of Andrew Carnegie
The Cumberland Public
Library, built originally with money from the Carnegie Foundation, recently
celebrated its anniversary with the appearance of the benefactor, Andrew
Carnegie, in the person of Jim Kerr.
On several occasions, Jim has presented ÒautobiographicalÓ accounts and
answered audience questions on the life of Andrew Carnegie. Kerr brought Carnegie one more time to
the May 31st meeting of Cumberland Kiwanis, much to the delight of
all present.
